The Stash buster was in town last night! I was not able to identify anyone’s stash, but I think there was a little tidying up before pictures were taken. Who has stashes that look this great??

Due to popular demand, we have created a NEW tab for our DAM quilt Along!!

Sarah Fielke will be joining us and the Ann Arbor Modern Quilt Guild on Tuesday, May 13 from 10 am – 3 pm for a Whirligi Hand Applique Workshop at Pink Castle in Ann Arbor. Please contact Vicky if you are interested in attending. Our guild was given 10 seats and there were only 4 remaining last night. There will also be a trunk show/meet and greet on Monday evening, on May 14 at Pink Castle as well.

Looking forward to our first retreat in March – stay tuned, if you are interested, planning for a Fall/November retreat are in the works!!

The Detroit Area Modern Quilt Guild (DAMQG) is a vibrant community of quilters in the Metro Detroit area who share a passion for modern design. Our work ranges from reimagining traditional patterns with bold, contemporary fabrics to creating completely improvisational pieces without patterns.

Our meetings are full of creativity and inspiration, featuring local speakers, hands-on demonstrations, fun challenges, swaps, and—everyone’s favorite—Show & Tell! Members also enjoy occasional weekend sew-ins, workshops, and retreats that foster learning and connection.
