October 19 – DAM Sew-along at Guildcrafters Quilt Shop – 11 am – 4 pm.  Please respond on our Facebook page.  A minimum of 4 must sign up by Friday, October 17, by 12 noon, or the event will be cancelled.

October 31 – November 2 – 2014 Celebrate SUE/DAM Witches Brew Retreat!!!  We still have one slot available!!

The Detroit Area Modern Quilt Guild (DAMQG) is a vibrant community of quilters in the Metro Detroit area who share a passion for modern design. Our work ranges from reimagining traditional patterns with bold, contemporary fabrics to creating completely improvisational pieces without patterns.

Our meetings are full of creativity and inspiration, featuring local speakers, hands-on demonstrations, fun challenges, swaps, and—everyone’s favorite—Show & Tell! Members also enjoy occasional weekend sew-ins, workshops, and retreats that foster learning and connection.

Founded in January 2013, DAMQG is proud to be a branch of the Modern Quilt Guild. We welcome new members of all skill levels—come join us and be part of our modern quilting community!
