Is it already November?? Guess so, we just had our DAM November meeting. Here are a few highlights from our meeting!! Hope everyone has a Wonderful Thanksgiving. Drive Safe and Enjoy your Family and Friends!!

Nancy McIntyre reserved space for 2 retreats in 2016 at Creative Passions. The dates for the 2016 retreats are March 18 – 20 and Oct. 28 – 30. See November Minutes for more details.
Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas – and we will begin our celebrations at our Members only Meeting/ Party, on Dec. 5th. An Email invite will be sent out with all of the details once we have a name from Northbrook’s Angel Tree.
The Mod Squad will be meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 6 pm until 8 pm. The meeting place is Panera’s located on Telegraph Rd. just south of 12 mile Rd. in Southfield. See you there.

The Detroit Area Modern Quilt Guild (DAMQG) is a vibrant community of quilters in the Metro Detroit area who share a passion for modern design. Our work ranges from reimagining traditional patterns with bold, contemporary fabrics to creating completely improvisational pieces without patterns.

Our meetings are full of creativity and inspiration, featuring local speakers, hands-on demonstrations, fun challenges, swaps, and—everyone’s favorite—Show & Tell! Members also enjoy occasional weekend sew-ins, workshops, and retreats that foster learning and connection.

Founded in January 2013, DAMQG is proud to be a branch of the Modern Quilt Guild. We welcome new members of all skill levels—come join us and be part of our modern quilting community!
