The DAM Girls are enjoying each other sewing, laughing and getting to know each other better. Our retreat is at Rose Villa Retreat Center in Lainsburg, MI.
This is our second retreat at this location. The entertainment for the night was the high school basketball team won their division and 2 fire trucks and the team bus driving into town and everyone outside cheering on the team.

Our January Charity Quilt Bee Quilt is in the background.

Our event for the night was a Mug Rug Swap.

During the swap, we picked a number out of a bag. Your number is called and you can either pick a gift from the pile in the middle to steal a gift that was opened before from the previous people. The gift can only be stolen twice.

This is always a fun game for us to play. These are a few of the Mug Rugs.

We can’t wait to see what is in store for tomorrow.

Our meetings are full of creativity and inspiration, featuring local speakers, hands-on demonstrations, fun challenges, swaps, and—everyone’s favorite—Show & Tell! Members also enjoy occasional weekend sew-ins, workshops, and retreats that foster learning and connection.
